Every Word Will Testify

Inspired by: Blasphemy Against the Holy Spirit

Jesus healed, the people cried,
“Son of David, is he the Christ?”
But Pharisees, their hearts untrue,
Spoke against the Spirit, they misconstrued.

Be careful now, every word you say,
For judgment comes on that final day.
By your words you’ll rise or fall,
The Spirit’s name must be revered by all.

Every word will testify,
Truth or lies, no place to hide.
Blaspheme not the Holy Flame,
For there’s no pardon for that shame.

Cessationists, they scoff and jeer,
Deny the Spirit working here.
But miracles flow, the mountains move,
By faith the power of God is proved.

You call it false, you slap the face,
Of the Spirit who fills this place.
Vipers’ tongues, hearts full of doubt,
Repent before your lamp goes out.

Every word will testify,
Truth or lies, no place to hide.
Blaspheme not the Holy Flame,
For there’s no pardon for that shame.

The Spirit heals, the Spirit speaks,
The power of heaven for all who seek.
Test the truth with fear and awe,
Revere the Spirit, obey God’s law.

“Who is the Spirit, mighty and pure?”
“The breath of God, our hope secure!”
“Who dares to mock the Holy Name?”
“Condemned forever to their shame!”

Every word will testify,
Truth or lies, no place to hide.
Blaspheme not the Holy Flame,
For there’s no pardon for that shame.

Speak with faith, let hearts be true,
The Spirit’s work is shining through.
By your words you’re judged or freed,
Praise the Spirit, on him believe!
