No Grace for Such Offense

Presented by Vincent Cheung

They spoke against the Spirit’s flame,
As Pharisees of old,
Who labeled holy power profane,
And dared to be so bold.

The breath of God, despised, denied,
They mocked His healing hand;
A careless word, a faithless tide,
And fell by their command.

“Unpardonable,” the Savior said,
No grace for such offense;
The Spirit’s work, their scorn had fed,
With fatal consequence.

No creed could veil the serpent’s lie,
No scholar’s robe disguise,
The venom of their words shall cry,
Through hell’s eternal skies.

So blasphemy, a dreadful snare,
Will close the heart to grace;
No prayer, no plea, no mercy there,
In judgment’s fiery face.

Beware the tongue that would malign
The Spirit’s healing ways,
For every careless word aligns
With endless, dark dismay.

May faith prevail, may truth defend,
The works the Spirit gives,
For those who mock, their fire won’t end,
But faith forever lives.
